Fly, promoted by Bristol Dj's Kinetic and Viceroy [Jason Hill and Thomas Godwin] alongside close friend Thomas Harris, started life back in 2002 as a one-off night to entertain friends, showcase their dj'ing talent, and to educate the masses in dance music.Now two years on, it has become one of Bristol's most successful and established student nights, having graced the majority of Bristol's smaller clubs, taking phenomenal amounts of money at each for the respective clubs.
The music and the people...
Having originally started out as a house music night, the Fly sound has emerged to become somewhat of a unique one...blending funky house bootlegs of chart tunes and classic dance and hip hop anthems, and a touch of alternative and rock on the side, our music policy has something to please everyone, while maintaining the club feel, as opposed to your average cheesey club sounds. Our policy regarding music has stemmed from the diverse crowds we have attracted though the years ; as our friends told their friends who dragged along their friends, we have constantly endeavoured to satisfy all of our supporters' desires, resulting in what can only be described as the ultimate party atmosphere for ultimate party people!!!

Venues...
The Fly night has graced many a club in the South West, with our home being the Ministry magazine BAR OF THE YEAR for the south...The Elbow Room, 64 Park Street Bristol. Other venues have included Bar Me Baldwin Street Bristol, BSB the Watershed Bristol, Amoeba Clifton Village Bristol, Soda Bar Frogmore Street Bristol, Park Avenue Bristol ,The Park Bristol and last, but not least [!] The Greenhouse Bristol.
We are always searching for new venues to keep our clients interested, and this New Year's Eve should see Fly make its first sea-borne appearance in Bristol, with plans for a boat party in the Bristol Docks.
